Whats a good, cheap and HD monitor?

I've been thinking about downsizing myself... a single 2560x1600 / 1440 monitor would be really nice.

If you're used to more than one monitor going back to a single is torture.

Just better hope it doesn't die in a year or so like most all other Acer products.

I recommend looking at 1600x900 monitors honestly. On some games @ 1080p with the 650ti boost you'll need to turn down the settings quite a bit.

Oh wait are you saying that with the monitor I chose I will have to turn down the graphics settings? If so, why is that?

Higher resolution puts more strain on the GPU. Games like Crysis 3 and Far Cry 3 won't be playing at high or max settings with a 1080p resolution on a 650ti.

I bought an LED monitor by ASUS a few months ago for 200 dollars. Very bright, good contrast. 24inch widescreen. Check walmart for them. Good prices.

I bought 3x HP 22" W2071D and personally I love them. They may be only 1600x900 but the colors look amazing on them when pared with 2x XFX Radeon HD 7770 Utra OC Editions. I am able to run 90% at full resolution with my setup. You can Pick them up at Bestbuy for 22" a piece.
