What is a good laptop

Hey guys I'm Looking for a laptop and can't decide what to look for, I want a 17 inch screen with a backlit keyboard with windows 7

I serf Internet and will be running a website soon and designing things so that's what ill be using it for

Any help on picking a good one thanks

What's the budget? If you aren't gaming and have a decent budget, look at a MBP. Seriously, I'm not kidding.

The best laptop in that price range is this one, but it does not have a backlit keyboard.

This may be a dumb question but does Microsfot vs Apple matter for you? You can find plenty of Windows based PC's around the $500 range, but if you are looking for a Mac then you'll be hard pressed to find one unless it's used.
