Fluctuating rear case fan RPMs?

Hey all-

Recently built a new rig and am having some case fan issues. I only have one case fan (rear exhaust) so that narrows down some things.

Basically computer runs solid, no issues. Temps are great all around (15C idle and 58C max load) but when I'm editing video, temps run between 40-50C and the case fan is constantly revving up then slowing down. It fluctuates between 4000RPM and 5200RPM or so. How can I get my fan to run solid? When it's idle and under 40C or so, the fan runs steady...it's just when it gets above the 40C mark it's all over the place.

AMD FX8350
16GB ram
650W corsair PSU
MSI 760-GM P-34 mobo

Thanks in advance!

If its changing, that means its adapting for a temp or load increase. i would not change it unless you put another fan in there to increase airflow.

If you make it sit at a lower rpm without changing the heat situation, you could cook something.
With that hardware, you should have more fans anyway. Plus, imo, 58 is getting up there in temps.
