Hello all

Im having a problem with my parents' computer. For some reason, if i load a flash or even when im typing on msn messenger, it will occasionally have a bit of latency. The connection here is superb, and it is one of the fastest cable connections I have seen, so I am convinced its a hardware thing.

When I'm watching flash cartoons, it will freeze for a couple seconds every so often, and to my understanding flash cartoons pre load and therefore shouldnt have any streaming problems.

The specs:
MSI mobo - forget th emodel but it is maybe 2 years old
AMD Athlon 1800+ 1.5 ghz
256 MB Crucial DDR 2900 ram
Ge force 2 mx 64mb ddr vidcard
soundblaster live value soundcard
OS: windows xp pro

Any ideas anyone?

thanks in advance

Hey,

Yeah it would definately be related to a Virus or Spyware.

The best 2 spyware cleaners I would say would be Ad-aware (www.lavasoft.de) and Spyboy: Search and Destroy (search for it at download.com).

Cheers,
Chris :)
