I am currently running:

Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 Wolfdale 3.16Ghz
ASUS P5B Deluxe P965 Motherboard
Zalman 750W Modular Power Supply w/ Heatpipe Cooling
eVGA GeForce GTX285 1GB Graphics Card

And I found a good deal for these parts: Is it worth the upgrade?

Motherboard - ASUS M4A87TD EVO AM3 AMD 870 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
CPU - AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor
GPU - XFX HD-575X-ZNFC Radeon HD 5750 1GB 128-bit DDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP

FYI, the rest of my specs are in my sig. I hope there isn't any incompatibilities!

CPU setup? Sure. GPU? No.

My GTX 465 overclocked was about 5850 performance and one of my GTX 280s was about the same as my 465. Not exact, but relative. A GTX 285 is faster than a 5750 by far.

Sounds good, thanks for the help. Nice to know my 4-year-old GTX285 is still a good GPU!

Should I go for the mobo and the CPU, or just purchase the CPU? I don't even know if that new CPU would work my A5 mobo.

Thanks

Ok thanks man for your patience. Does everything else in my sig spec list look compatible with that new mobo? (including the case).

Also, do you believe i will see a dramatic difference with this CPU upgrade? I think I can get both the CPU and Mobo for $100 shipped, but they are used
