Games like battle field 3, League of Legends, GTA 5, (when it comes out) and games similar to these. And honestly whatever the highest Resolution staying in the budget would be fine.

the graphics card is clearly what is holding you back here. another $50 will make BF3 play quite well, not the best, but with plenty of graphics turned on. LOL will play more than fine.

Yea SSD = totallyawesomeas****dude but in most situations I go without one in lower end gaming rigs.

Not with that budget. Want more performance in the GPU where it counts. If he had 800 to spare then it would be a different story.
