Ok..here is a list of the current specs that I am getting, I am kind of on a budget but I can do a few exceptions...but not that would extremely increase the price..im looking to stay in the average of what it is now

This is for a gaming computer

Diablo ATX Case w/ 450W power suply
Artec 80GB SATA HD (or Raptor 36.7GB 10k)
Abit KV8 Pro Via Socket 754 ATX Motherboard
Ultra pc3200 512mb DDR Ram
XFX GeForce 6600GT AGP8x
AMD Athlon 64 3400+ (or 3200)

Downgrade the 64 3400+ to a 64 3000+ and get the 6800 GT by eVGA.

Other than that it looks pretty good.

Looks good...I would stay away from XFX graphics cards though. The bad thing is I think they are the only one that makes the 6600GT in AGP.

Also get the Abit AV8 mobo, it's supposed to be better for oc'ing. And the eVGA 6800GT will be all you will need for a long time. You wont notice that much difference in dropping from the 64 3400+ to 64 3000+, there both super fast. Just make sure you get the new winchester core with 90 nm. Also you will have to flash the bios on the AV8 to get it to work with the new core processor, but it will be worth it.
