Here is the hardware I was looking at. If anything is wrong, underkill or overkill please say so! I dont know what I am doing lol. give me tips. I would like my budget a little lower though so if you think I could downgrade something, let me know. Right now this is at $768.00.

What is the purpose of this build?

First things first, that CPU wont work on that motherboard. Secondly, no to the CPU anyways.
The next thing that needs attention is the PSU. You don't need 750w for that rig.

You just wont use even half of it and an Intel i5 3330 or even i3 3220 would perform better.

If the purpose is gaming you want to put more money into your GPU as gaming is 90% GPU bound.

Got it. Looking at the GPU I have here how good do you think it is

The 7870 is a good GPU and +/- 580 performance. If you can spare a little more it would be better to get a 660ti.

i see. how long could I play modern games with the 660ti and all the rest of my build, before needing an upgrade?
