p166 with AGP?

i got hold of a computer with a p166, 96mb ram, 2gb hdd, pci video card, and a brown slot that looks like AGP! Well it has no notches but im sure its AGP, any opinions?

This is a 2x agp slot, I believe you have this one on your old mobo

There are many older Socket 7 mobos fit with AGP slots (though most likely of 1x max. rate).

One such example is the DFI K6XV3+/66:

Just be sure not to confuse them with EISA slots (they are much longer, so there's no way you can obfuscate it).

http://www.soyousa.com/ has alot of Socket7 AGP mobo's. It doesn't make sense to get an AGP card on a Socket7. I think the fastest Socket7 CPU is a 550MHz AMD, so the CPU will be the bottleneck.

i have an AMD k6 512cache w/ mobo that has an agp slot. works pretty good w/ a voodoo5!

That is not an AGP slot. I'm thinking you may have it confused with a 66 MHz PCI slot/"wide" PCI slot.

Its AGP.

It says AGP on the mobo.
