Take a look and help me refine my PC build for me please before I purchase

Sorry for the noobish questions, I looked up 650TI and I got a bunch of different brands and different prices ranging from 130-180, don't know which is the "right" one. Why are there so many brands for the same tech?

Newegg.com - EVGA 01G-P4-2650-KR GeForce GTX 650 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card Is this it?

Also how's this RAM? Newegg.com - CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B

And I was thinking is AMD just as good as Intel? I was thinking maybe getting AMD so save money. But I hear Intel are superior in every aspect.

It's like going to a store to look for jeans. Just different companies selling a slightly different variation of the same product to make money. The card you have linked is a regular 650, and you want the 650ti.
Newegg.com - EVGA 01G-P4-3650-KR GeForce GTX 650 Ti 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card

RAM is fine.

The difference in games could be 2-20FPS depending on what exactly it is you play and what CPUs you are comparing. If you're comparing a fast 8350 vs say the 3570k one game could be no difference and the next 10FPS. To spread a little more light on the subject you can look at my article which explains why.

To simply answer your question, you could go AMD to save cash but you would then have to put the money into a better GPU. It's the better route to go, but honestly if you were just gaming you could simply go with an i3 3220 to have Intel single threaded superior performance and still save about 100 bucks off the i5's price tag. Then you could get something like the 660ti which for sure would be the best bang for your buck. Honestly though, a 650ti would probably be just enough for your gaming needs.

I'm still looking around for deals, I know it's been a while, I know PPMguire suggested, this CPU Newegg.com - Intel Core i5-3330 Ivy Bridge 3.0GHz (3.2GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 2500 BX80637i53330

but, while looking today, I came across

Intel Core i5 3570K 3.4GHz LGA 1155 Processor 407627 - Micro Center

what's the difference between that and Newegg.com - Intel Core i5-3570 Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 77W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 2500 BX80637i53570

and the one Mguire linked.

Also, I've been getting suggestions for AMD, are they good?

You're better off with Intel. Period. Whether it be the i3 3220 or even a Pentium G2120 just to get started.

The difference between the three linked i5's are clock speed. The 3570k has an unlocked multiplier for overclocking which requires a Z77 board. Not exactly worth it because you'll get the same relative performance from the cheaper 3330.
