Maybe I'm just over thinking this too much, but on my Athlon 64 3000+ socket 754's box it says 800MHz FSB. But on some websites it says the FSB is only 200MHz, I don't understand.
 
200x2x2=800

200 is the actual front side bus speed.
x2 because your RAM us DDR (dual data rate)
x2 because your CPU is 64bit.

i think :confused:
 
32-bit: (200 Mhz x 4) or (400 Mhz DDR x 2) = 800 Mhz HTT

64-bit: (200 Mhz x 4) or (400 Mhz DDR x 2) x 2 = 1600 Mhz HTT
