Hey...got a question if ya dont mind..
My friend just called me. He installed a new mobo/PS and is using same other hardware. He gets no video/screen display. Sounds like it boots into windows..no beep code errors. 2 diff monitors were tried..no success. What else should be done any ideas? Also...He has NO graphics card installed..just on-board.

This is for winXP home ... intel celerong something i dont know all his specs

Thanks for any response!

Sounds like the on-board video option may not be set. Does he get even a BIOS screen when the power button is pushed? Or nothing at all at any point? Make sure all parts of the computer are put back in the machine...no RAM would cause a no video error...have him try another AGP/PCI video card if he has one then see if it picks up video then you know the on-board unit is bad.

well I just talked to some 14 yr old super geek that came over his house..Hardwares is set fine. Turns out his "new" mobo has 1 ..yes 1 pci slot...no agp, its a MSI g11-cb00056 .
But no ,theres no bios screen..cant get any display at all. Theres no vid card there at moment to test so... maybe ill just buy him a 2 dollar mb for christmas and upgrade his stuff. I give up its not worth it. Appreciate the help.
