New build, where could I shave off more money?

Would you say the XFX Radeon 7970 was a safer bet? Or is it all XFX cards? :s

Any card that doesn't have that cooler on it basically. I haven't looked into it enough to know exactly what the problem is, but it's those coolers for sure.

So if not a GTX 680 and not a XFX DD 7970, what could you recommend that's not too much more expensive than the DD, but not £360 o.o

Even though I hate Gigabyte's RMA and CS they make really good coolers on their cards. I never had a bad Sapphire AMD card either.
