Hmm, been having a re-think - if I spend out on the 660ti now and maybe need to upgrade the psu should I just get a new mobo and case then I'm not so restricted when I want a cpu and graphics card later on?

what are my best options for a case and mobo for around £200? can I buy a mobo that will fit my current parts that will in future take an i5 and maybe a gtx680?

and if not - shall I look at mobo, cpu, ram and case then get a new psu & card in the near future?

sorry for all the questions but it seems the more I look into this the more options there are!

If this is for gaming, your better upgrade option is simply a GPU and PSU. Your socket is 775 and to get a new CPU you will need a new motherboard, CPU, and RAM plus a case. With the GPU and PSU you can reuse those in the new setup while still getting a good bump in FPS with what you currently have. Getting a new CPU setup wont really help in the way of FPS with such a weak GPU.
