Upgrade help

Hi i like to upgrade my old computer:
3,20 gigahertz AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core
LTD ASUS M2N-E
4gb ddr2
ATI Radeon HD 3870 X2
I dont have money for everithing yet. i want to buy the following upgrades:
Asus P8H61-M LE R2.0
Intel Core i5-2500 processzor
Kingmax 8GB 1600MHz DDR3
If i use it with the old video card will i feel better gaming experience with new hardvare but old video card?

If you don't have that much money, I think you'd get most benefit from buying a new videocard instead of buying a new motherboard and processor...

Have to agree. Besides, there is no point in buying a Sandy Bridge CPU when Ivy Bridge chips are just as cheap. I think the 2500k and 3570k are identical in price still. If you can't afford everything then consider getting the i3 3220 instead and a better GPU. Your gaming experience is dependent mainly only on your GPU.

The GTX 660, 7870, 7950, and GTX 660ti are the best bang for your buck cards granted how much of a budget you have.

He can't grab that CPU as of his location.

I don't recommend AMD if you are waiting to do an overhaul. Get an Intel. There are better equivalents on the Intel side for the same price you pay for lesser performing AMD chips.
