HP dv6700 series 8 duplicate images on lcd screen

I have a HP Pavilion dv6700 series model dv6768se with the amd chip. I see 8 duplicate images on the screen at the same time, it was working find and one day it has this problem. You can still read the screen but just repeated multiple times. History, it does have a tenacy to overheat, so I use a cooler under the laptop which has helped in the past. I have not tried an external monitor, don't have access to one at the moment. If I can find a cable will try to hook it up to my HDTV. Any suggestions?

Problem resolved, it was a malware/virus. After removing the malware, the laptop is now operating properly.
