Which Laptop is better?

I have made a thread that lead to this so I thought the thread was going to become out of topic so I created this thread.

Title sas All Im looking for a gaming laptop roughly under 1600 and found these two and want to know which one is better.

For the price I would personally go with the Asus. I cant justify an extra $200 just for the styling difference. I have the G74 right now and love it. Also you get double the ram and a full 1080p screen with the Asus so that's always nice. Both laptops also feature two hard drive bays, so throw in a SSD and your set!
