RAM question

Hey

Am upgrading my PC, want a 6800 GT graphics card so am thinking of getting a P4 3.4Ghz LGA775 processor and a Gigabyte GA-8IPE775-G mainboard (915PE chipset but based on 865PE cos I need the AGP slot).

The FSB is 800Mhz, so the question is, should I get dual channel DDR400 RAM to put in it? Will the RAM effectively run at 800Mhz?? Sorry if this is a stupid question, cheers in advance for any replies.

Yes, as long as you buy 2 400mhz ram sticks and your motherboard supports duel channel which Im sure it does.

Edit" yeah, I checked out the mobo and it supports duel channel (pretty looking mobo )

They are the same speed so it will run very good. (CPU and RAM)
