Okay, I got the Gigabyte 660 GTX OC, but when I plug it into my monitor my monitor wont turn on. I don't have a dvi cable but I used a vga-dvi adapter to plug it in to my monitor. This is for a new system. The cords are securely connected and the psu cord is going to the PCI-E slot on my PSU.

Here's my setup:
CPU: i5-3570k
PSU: Corsair 750W (gold)
MOBO: ASRock Z77 Extreme4
RAM: 8GB G.Skill 1600
HDD: 1 TB Western Digital 7200
GPU: GeForce 660 GTX OC

Here is a picture: http://imgur.com/cHfs0 .... Don't mind the messy cable management.

Have you verified the adapter functions by using the onboard video connections from the mobo? Also, since its a new system, do you have a spare monitor you can use to verify the GPU isn't defective? Do you get any messages on the monitor when you turn it on, or does the power LED light up in any color?
