PC won't boot

So I was playing Fifa on my pc then left it to go Skype my gf on my laptop. As I was walking back to my computer from my laptop, it shut down, then kept trying to boot. I turned it off myself and then when I tried rebooting it, it would give one long, uninterrupted beep. Unplugged the pc and waited...now it iust tries to boot and shuts down without getting to bios screen. Sounds like a car revving then shuts down. I don't have spare parts to test out.

I'm thinking it sounds like the power supply. Opinons? Thanks...

Went and bought a psu today and it will turn on now. However I get no video signal. Did it cook my mobo or video card? :-/

What are your specs? Do you have a dedicated video card or on board video?
