Upgrading CPU, MB, Ram - Advice Needed

Have you found compression fittings to be worth it or just go barbs and zipties? I guess compression fittings look better... that's about it...

Yeah I've used barbs and zipties in each of my watercooling builds and have never had a leak issue...

Ok I need some advice on RAM. I'm going to be selling my i7-920 build as a whole including the RAM I have in it so I will need some new RAM. I'm going with this MB: Newegg.com - ASRock Z77 Extreme6 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard and I'm thinking about this RAM: Newegg.com - G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Desktop Memory Model F3-1866C9D-16GZH I checked the ASRocks website and the memory support list for this MB and didn't see this G.skill RAM listed... It looks like very good RAM and the timings are low and so is the voltage... Any opinion on some legit RAM for oc'ing that has good timings and will work with that MB?

No point in RAM over 1600MHz honestly. I'm actually in the middle of showing exactly how little difference RAM makes over 1600 right now (2133 kit).

Also, any reason for 16GB? If all you do is game then 8GB is really plenty. If you really want that RAM kit it will work.

Ugh not really just to say I have 16gb lol even though I know 8gb is plenty... Thanks for the input sir! I also found that the rx480 RAD will fit in my case, just have to remove the upper rear PSU bracket and it will fit... (E-peen grows :)!) Now my case will have some junk in the trunk!

I just ordered these so I'm starting my new loop purchasing :) It's going to hurt the wallet :(
