Really slow wireless speed

Hey,

Bought a laptop about a year ago and spent the first 6 months plugged to a wall (LAN).

Once I moved to my new flat I had to use the wireless and began to notice that my internet speed was quite slow. Additionally, it is ONLY my computer that is experiencing these issues; my girlfriend's computer and two other flatmates' laptops aren't experiencing anything of the sort.

I tried to update my wireless driver through the device manager but it noted that it was up to date.

Any suggestions?

You could try rolling back the wireless driver to a previous version. Where you went to update the driver, there should be a roll back button.

What about your laptop network speed when you are only one connected to wifi?

Check out this site SpeedGuide.net :: Broadband Tweaks, Tools and Info at the top of page go to broadband under that tab you can use registry tweaks and Broadband tools. There is an optimizer tool to download under that heading.. I have been using these tools and tweaks for years and it helps.
