the blue ones will go under the case for coolness and the white ones inside the case.

this put me $60 over budget but i think i can live with that. let me know what you guys think. thanks

i will be using this for mainly playing games using nvidia surround. and eventually i will be getting into water cooling. I am also doing so movie editing hence the ridiculously large storage drives. thanks

If you are getting into water cooling then really no point wasting the money on an H100 unless you can turn around and sell it quickly. Simply put, if you go custom might as well put the CPU in the loop too. BUT only if you intend on overclocking. If you don't there is no reason for any of that.

You also don't need the 1200w PSU for SLI 680s. An 850 would be fine to save a bit of cash.
Also, as much as I like Corsair gear I would recommend dropping those Corsair fans and getting some Sythe Kaze or Gentle Typhoon. I think for the performance the Corsair fans are over priced.

There is also no reason to get that stupidly expensive motherboard either. For the money if you are that serious in movie editing (like Premier, not Movie Maker stuff) you can get a 3930k based system instead or at least a 3770k. I have people use my PC and the extra 2 cores help for stuff like CAD, Photoshop, and serious video editing over the quads.

If your gonna spend 6,000 Dollars on a computer at least get an i7-3770k or 3930. Also haswell is coming out soon so it would be better to buy an i7 3930k, 1500$ on monitors sure seems like alot and 2x 7970's would save you about 400 dollars for both for around same performance with the new drivers but hey if you want Nvidia get it

no it doesn't.

with a budget like this, he shouldn't spend less than that. unfortunately, it looks like most of the cost of the monitors is in hype and endorsements. no one should pay $500 for a monitor that is only 1920 x 1080 and a TN panel.

you should be looking at something like this
Um, what? Why would he get a 16:10 60Hz IPS over 120Hz 3D ready 2ms 1080p that is ready for 3D Surround? IPS panels are great for workstation but when you want to game those BenQ screens are the ****. Not only that, but the BenQ monitors take 50w less a piece than the Dells.

To go even further, he should be getting 4GB 680s instead of the 2GB because in Surround he will run into VRAM issues. That being said, he should be getting 1400p panels.

I have been given the ok from my wife to spend as much as i need to so im going to do a full watercolling loop as well. Il redoo my build wen i get home any sugestions between now and them would be halpfull.
