First Build - Gaming PC

Jason: Why do you suggest the Samsung over the Seagate?

If you can put all your games and the os with room to spare on the ssd, then go with the green drive. if you have plenty of games or do lots of file transfers or would use a lot of space for something other than storing videos/photos/general file storage, then you would probably see a difference in going with the faster better samsung drive.

There really isn't that much of a difference sustained.

Both of these drives are full.

My 1TB 7200RPM Seagate for comparison.

Something that sits there and does nothing half the time while generating more heat for something that makes a difference every time he plays a game. Sure, sound logic. The difference is sometimes 5-12FPS depending on the game not counting overclocking. That is a huge difference. Streaming a movie or music between the two drives, wont notice any difference at all.
