code 10 error

my bros comp is connected to my router through a wireless connection. he is using a d-link dwl-520+ and my router is a linksys wag54g. anhow today i just stopped working and i dot know why ive tried it in the other pci slots but nothing. i got it to detect it in one of them but when i reinstall the driver it says there is a problem with the device, and give the error "code 10" ive done a search but i cant find what this code 10 is? can any1 help me.

his specs are

athlon 1.2
ecs K7S5A (muck i know)
256mb pc133
40gig HDD
GF2 MX440.
