How to know which ram is compatible?

Hello everyone. Im trying to buy a 1333mhz ram. But i dont know which will fit on my computer. I have a Dell Inspiron 530s. I dont know if that too broad for someone to help me out, so i looked at my motherboard, and theirs a number tag on it that says rev ao1. thanks.

the documentation shows that the computer uses ddr2 ram:

Documentation

you will not be able to use ddr3 1333 mhz ram.

4 Gb is the most that you can put onto the computer.
