How to Disable the GPU

My motherboard came integrated with a GPU. I installed a new one in my PCI-E slot. I want to disable the old one but when I look it up in the device manager it is not there, just the new one. I was told if I do not disable the old one it will still use up memory?

Are there any other places where hardware can be disabled other than the device manager?

There should be an option in the bios to disable integrated graphics. Depending on the brand mobo you have it'll be under something like hardware options or power options.
