That price is heavily inflated to ensure they don't take losses on selling it though. My suppliers are selling it for $650 right now with no stock to be filled after these ones leave.

Some independent ones do - however it would depend entirely on the particular store and even then it's unlikely they'd have any reason to want to buy a server CPU.
