New PC build

Well,
I'm trying to make a basic, inexpensive CADding PC. Here's what I've thought of so far:

AMD FX-6100 Processor
Komputerbay 16GB (2x 8GB) PC3-10600 10666 1333MHz DDR3 1333 DRAM
Gigabyte AMD 760G + SB710 Chipset DDR3 1333 AM3+ Micro ATX Motherboard
Force3D ATI Radeon HD5450 Video Graphics Card
Cooler Master eXtreme Power Plus 500w
ASUS(PCE-N15) Wifi Card
Western Digital 1 TB WD Blue
NZXT Guardian Black SECC Steel Chassis ATX Mid Tower Case 921RB-BL
Logitech Desktop MK120 Mouse and keyboard
Viewsonic's VA2448M-LED 24-Inch Monitor
Ubuntu

Any thoughts?

Before you get upset, the fx4100 is better for you at mosr times, if you need a hexacore for now get it.
The power supply will handle your system as it is in my AMD FX machine, never heard one choke from it and handles well with my pny GT510
The ram is 8gb at 1600, yes I know its not 16gb, but you'll have plenty of breathing room in ubuntu or windows
The case, you like shiny, christmas comes early yes its a beauty alright/ ;)
Last since you want a monitor the 24 inch is out of your budget range.
If you still want it, you will have to sacrifice it for something out of the list
The hard drive and video card I think you'll enjoy too much.

Mguires list is quite good as well, you have 2 choices to pick from.
If the budget is in range of 700 bucks both of ours is more than reasonable.
Let us know what you think man.

Later.....

Well if you want to stick with the SSD then you can stick with my list, substitute the CPU and board for his, and keep the Samsung SSD. It'll be much slower for what you want to do though.

Your best options are kind of laid out in front of you really. You can choose the AMD rig which is slightly cheaper, and go with an SSD, or ditch the SSD and keep the Intel setup. You could lower that 3450 to a 3330 CPU, but I don't think it would be enough leeway for an SSD.
