I like to surf YouTube for a more visual reference. Recently, I have seen a member install a liquid cooling system for a processor. Is this type of system more reliable or efficient or is it just cool; no pun intended.

It is geared more towards people who like to do high OCs on their processors. It takes the heat away faster and has an overall lower idle temp.

it is both cool and cool (pun intended)

it can also be quieter instead of running several more fans for the intention of keeping the computer cool. for the most part, liquid cooling is for people who overclock a lot.

I have liquid cooled my rig (processor and Video Card). Keeps things cool while gaming also. But I also OC my system too. It's super easy these days to do, I remember several years ago hacking a system together with fish tank parts and saving up to buy a cooling block for the processor. Now you can go to Best Buy and pick up a basic enclosed system for under $100.
