warning about 6600 GT AGP

this card while being good price/performance wise looses alot of its performance in any resolution above 1280x1024... ive seen this on benchmarks from tomshardware and 1 other site... in 1600x1200 it is beaten by 9800pro(256mb) in some cases, just figured i would put this out there, maybe someone will release a 256mb version? maybe not?

What would you expect with a mid-range card. I would only max out games on 1600x1200 if I had a 6800 GT/Ultra paired with an Althlon FX processor. I generally play on 1024x768 even.

Lol me too, I only play in 1152x864. I think I'm going to buy this card come New years, because I can't play a single game without having major lag at some point. My crippled 9800SE is the wrost card you could get: 128-bit, 6 mem pipelines, 325MHz Core and 277MHz Memory, the highest I can oc to is 353/326 (Clore/Mem). The 6600GT's 500/1000MHz seems reaaaaaaally enticing compared to what I have.

That is a good question. But also how could the Geforce 5800Ultra have a higher clock speed than the 5900Ultra? or am i wrong?

I just looked at the 6600GT(AGP) and 6800 up close and noticed that the 6600GT (XFX brand) is 128-bit, Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the 6800 is 256-bit. Just like with CPU's a P4 could be 3.4GHz(32-bit) but an Athlon 64(64-bit) 3400+ @ 2.2GHz will run faster than the P4.
