Should I build or should I buy?

okay yea ill check into that power supply. Just trying to get a handful of builds together and then narrow it down from there. What would you reccomend between an Intel or AMD processor? I currently have an Intel i3 on my laptop and i really like it, but not too familiar with gaming setups.

Ok, I updated a few of the options from my previous one. One thing I added was a SSD and a normal hard drive. I figured I could load the operating system on the SSD so that it would be quicker and more reliable, then use the normal hard drive for storage.

the case is a personal choice, but im pretty sure that is a good one.

if the rebates give yourself more room, you can upgrade the gpu to a gtx 570 or a 7950

This build is the most powerful out of the lot. If you can afford the Intel setup then you should get it.

which would make it on budget if you factor in MIR

so to actually bring it down, you would have to reduce the 7850 to a 6950
