Any questions I can answer.
I know I didn't give much information about the Motherboard.
I can also change any of these things, preferably motherboard if it's under 100$

I have a mouse, keyboard, and monitor already.
Are there any cords I need?
And if possible is there any things I can get cheaper?
Like a different graphics card since I only plan to play Arma 2 (+ random steam games).

Ok, thanks!
I will keep that in mind.
So does everything work together well?
And is there a different motherboard to chose from for around the same price? (80-100$)

welcome :)
i think it will, everything does look in order. but dont quote me on it! :)
and i'm not to knowledgeable on what hardware is out there, so i'm not the best person to ask. although i do hear Asus Mobo's are pretty good and a reasonable price.
if you don't mind, how much will this set up be costing roughly? ( it looks like the sort of thing i'd be looking for in the not to distant future)

An E8400 is really not a good choice for a new PC. It's four generations old, and you can get much better for the same price now (plus DDR3 is cheaper to buy than DDR2 which you'd need for the E8400). Or do you have the E8400 already?

Sorry guys, I fell asleep.

@Milk_The_Elephant
Believe it or not, I'd be getting all this for just under 700.
Not including Windows. Which I will be getting, but I'm going to just sell my Xbox to do so.

@Yami
I don't have any of the parts yet, I am going to order them today.
Can you link another processor and ddr that will go with all this please?
And why would it be better?

@jasonalwaysready
My budget it around 600-800, and this is basically 700.
So I can upgrade, but also maybe downgrade if some things aren't necessary.
I live in California, and also what harddrive fan?
Does that harddrive come with a fan, should I get a different one?
And yeah, I need windows.

And to be completely honest with everyone, I am very dumb about computer hardware.
Like I have no idea what this DDR stuff is.
If my setup is a bit off, can someone link new parts and tell my why in layman's terms?
