700$ish Price Range without a monitor. Getting back into gaming. I'd like it to be a little lower though.

Good way of going about things, but the problem with doing that is supply and pricing fluctuates about every 3-6 months for computer parts. One month you will see a monster video card going for a good deal then 4 months later when the next thing comes out supply and demand dictates they discontinue or price high due to low demand and stock. If all goes well, get the rig he said up there ^^ and add a 570 to it. By the end of the year the 570 will be a lot cheaper, if still in stock. If they deactivate the product then substitute with 660ti.

Any certain brands to look out for etc?
Kind of recommended some video cards in this post.

This close? and what price range really? I guess this thing's going to be around 1,100. Sheesh.

That is a good question. I am looking to make a pc and am wondering what wd i get for 700?

$700 is a fine budget for mid-range gaming pc. You can definitely start with the i5 2nd gen and grab that best bang for the buck Radeon HD 6850 video card or the new Radeon HD 7770 (two of these run right next to 6970 or GTX 580 for nearly $200 less). Either one will support 1080p and plays well with most modern games at mid to high settings.

Be sure you have a well design chassis (such as the Diablotek EVO case in this $700 Custom Gaming PC Build ) to provide sufficient ventilation for internal components, otherwise you will have intermittent performance drops during high load.

i just made a decent build for $803.92 most was already suggested before Case and graphcis card already included.

@02geek, you won't get much for $700. i already think the build i made is pretty minimal already. unless you're willing to get an AMD APU which still isn't as fast and gamer friendly as most would like...

moving on:
Case: Newegg.com - Antec Three Hundred Illusion Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case (Cheapy case, i own this for my first rig. not much room and should still be able to fit the graphics card i will suggest.)
Hard Drive: Newegg.com - Western Digital Caviar Black WD1002FAEX 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive (1TB, hikari cloud suggested a 1.5TB but i honestly don't think you're goign to be using 1.5TB of memory anyway for games and everyday use, and a 1 year warranty is a bit short for my tastes)
Graphics CarD: Newegg.com - HIS iCooler H777F1G2M Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card (slightly worse than the 6850 but much cheaper and doesn't come with dirt 3. i heard dirt 3 is a bad game anyway but that's just what i heard)
Power Supply: Newegg.com - CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650 V2 650W ATX12V v2.31/ EPS12V v2.92 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC High Performance Power Supply
RAM: Newegg.com - G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL
MotherboarD: Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GA-Z68A-D3H-B3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
CPU: Newegg.com - Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4000 BX80637I53570K

It wasn't really clarified what you had bought in the previous threads so if you already bought those parts then just take those out from the build i have and modify it. See if you like it. i also want some input on this build.

So different case? And I'd rather an SSD drive thing than a traditional hard drive. I wont play dirt btw I was just kinda wondering.

Link me to a different card? D:.
