Ok, Cut a long story short I bought a new network card because my internet is playing up and I wanted to eliminate all possibilities so I can ring my ISP and tell then whats what.

Well i've installed the network card and in device manager its giving me following info.

This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)

If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system.

I would normally goto the Bios check it out there etc.. Thing is I have an Asus M5a97 Motherboard which uses Uefi bios and I must admit, I dont like it. I canot find the network card or even the PCi slots in the bios.

Could anyone please help me with this?

Thanks

It wouldn't show the PCI ethernet card. It only shows onboard devices. Other than drives.

That means that it is using the same I/O port by a device.

Try a different PCI slot, looks like you have 2.

alright thanks, Ill give this a shot once the kids have gone to bed and I can access my pc safely. Ill let you know the outcome
