Canada, eh?
I've been out of the hardware loop for a few years, but I am looking at upgrading my Intel Duel Core and Radeon 4850 to a quad and a mid-high video card and some DDR3 RAM. I'm looking to keep it under $500. I've never been great at gauging the necessary watts for a rig, so I'm hoping to get some help there especially. So...

Current:
Intel E8400 Duel Core 3.0 GHz
4 GB DDR2 RAM
610 Watt PSU (Silencer)
ASUS P5QL Pro Motherboard

I'm looking at these for upgrades right now.
Video: XFX Radeon HD 6950 800MHZ 2GB 5.0GHZ DDR5 2xDVI HDMI 2x Mini DisplayPort Fansink PCI-E Video Card - XFX - HD695XCDFC
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Quad Core Processor AM3 3.4GHZ 8MB Cache 125W 45NM Retail Box - AMD - HDZ965FBGMBOX
Mobo: ASUS M4A79XTD Evo ATX AM3 790X DDR3 2XPCI-E16 2XPCI-E 2XPCI CrossFireX SATA Audio GBLAN Motherboard - ASUS - M4A79XTD EVO
RAM: Corsair CML8GX3M2A1600C9W Vengeance Lowprofile White 8GB 2X4GB DDR3-1600 CL9-9-9-24 Memory Kit - Corsair - CML8GX3M2A1600C9W

Let me know what you guys think. I think my PSU can handle the upgrades, but as stated, I've never learned to calculate that out.
