computer shuts down randomly

So i have a acer extensa 5420 windows 7 and just 2 days ago after having it for years i cam to a problem i been trying to fix and cannot figure it out so please help me sumone.

the computer seems to shut down at completely random times mostly when i watch a video or play a game.
i have updated the drivers that were outdated
cleaned the fan
no over heating detected
scanned for viruses using both malware bytes and windows security essentials

please help im at a loss

When you say "no over heating detected" what exact temperatures are you getting? Did you check the CPU and the GFX temperatures? Either can crash the PC.

i ran speed fan:
hd0:38c
temp1:47c
temp2:44-50c
core:45c

Get hwmonitor (free version) and post up a screenshot. I find speedfan to interpret temperatures wrong. This is just to verify.

i figured that my fan was congested it was sick lol too much dust eating
