5.1 Surround Issue

It seems my Rear Speakers of the 5.1 Surround are very quiet. I'm using Realtek and using speaker fill but the rear speakers seem too low.

Could simply be that the speaker is going bad. Did you play with different settings in Realtek's sound manager?

Yeah, when I play it in Realtek and in the windows tester the speakers are loud but when playing songs/movies the rear speakers just quiet down.

Could be the software you are using is not set to 5.1. What are you using to run videos/music?

Well I'm using windows media player because of my xbox to stream easier and what not. Dont know how to c hange wmp settings. but i have it set to speaker fill anyway.
