Diablo 3 graphics card upgrade options?

You people are beyond annoying, they patch these games almost bi-weekly with MINOR edits, at least, at first. Worked fine on my 3850, but for about 3 months Blizzard had a set of patchs that required AMD to write new drivers because those patches ****ed **** up. -.-

So.... thinking my budget is like less than $300... (hoping to stay around $200 give/take $50ish, not tooo worried about what works with d3 best at this point in its release. but open to any opinions still

Best bang for your buck I'd say:

$250 ($20 rebate) HIS HD 7850
$240 ($30 rebate) XFX HD 6950

I would go for HD6850 for this game. Diablo 3 does not require high spec to play with.

If he can get a 6950 for 240 that is within his budget and will retain his 50 bucks and be way better than a 6950. Even though Charles was saying they like to screw with ATI with patches it will eventually get fixed.

If you go with ATI, make sure to at least update to 12.4 and apply the hotfix for that unless ATI releases a new driver between now and you get the card.
