Hey guys. I just completed my first build and it's first boot isn't going to well. I am completely stuck.
I'm pretty new to learning this stuff, so I would greatly appreciate any advice or help you could give me.
I didn't mess with any of the bios settings I just booted straight from my OS disk.
I booted Windows 64 bit from a disk and I'm getting the following message when I try to install.
0

After this screen it's saying that I need to load a driver to access my drive and its asking me insert the media containing the driver files.
I have no idea what to do.

Any theories on what I'm doing wrong?

I don't think your picture is coming up, at least not for me.

Might want to post your full system specs.

It sometimes will ask you that for RAID drives and rarely SSDs.

Here's the image.

and my specs are:

AMD Athlon II X3 455,
Kingston HyperX 8gb Memory
HD Radeon 6850
Western Digital Caviar Blue 500 GB SATA III 7200 RPM 16 MB Cache Bulk/OEM Desktop Hard Drive - WD5000AAKX
Asus 24xDvd Rw Internal OEM drive
GIGABYTE GA-MA78LMT-S2 Motherboard
Corsair Builder Series CX600 600 watt Power Supply

So not detecting the HDD eh? Check your BIOS and see if it comes up there if not then try putting the drive into SATA I port.

PS gus correct me if I am wrong here as I am not exactly experienced with SATA but I am going off the info I have.
