abryan,

1) Yes, you can upgrade from windows 98 to windows 98 se.

2) while in windows, just put the cd into your drive, now click setup [or autorun appears] . You will have the option there to select a clean install or upgrade. Click upgrade and go with the installation.

No! you tell him before I tell you something!
ROFL

You bytch about no one telling him anything, and then you do the same. LOL

Besides, he didn't ask how to do it. He just asked if it was possible.

Which I'm not sure if it still is, seeing that MS stopped supporting 98 years ago. There's probably still an upgrade link on the net, but you'd be hard pressed to find a copy of the upgrade in a store.

my current operating system is win98 and I have a win98se cd and my question is can I upgrade from win 98 to win98se and if so how would I do that and is it even worth it?

Doesn't matter. He stated he's got a se cd.

The first edition of Windows 98 sucked....you definately want to upgrade to SE. However, it would be best to do a clean install of 98SE, rather than upgrade from original 98. You will notice a great improvement in stability. I have to say the original edition of 98 was the worst OS Microsoft ever released except for Windows ME.
