Hi I am a first time builder and I need a little help on building the gaming machine. I have looked at some custom ones online (dino pc) but not shoor if I am getting good deal any help with this would help a lot.

What I need:

CPU : at least 3.0 gh
Ram: no less than 500gb
Mother bord : best for money
Graphics card : at least 1gb
DVD drive : any
Power supply : room for upgrade

Also please take into account cost of operating system.

Is this possible for under 600$ please anyone help me

Medium to high BF3 for under 600 with OS is going to be almost impossible unless you are playnig at a res of like 1280x1024.

Plus there is no way he can get 500gig of ram into that budget :p

But yeah, what PP said. Unless you can find some amazingly cheap deals somewhere your going to have to save up a little longer.

GTX260 can play high at 1280x1024 so that is why I was saying up there 600 would get you high settings on a low res monitor. A 6000+ with my 465 at stock chugs medium at 1080p.

ok thank as you can probably tell i am a noob in this field

this looks good thanks:)

but where is the cpu

The second link is a CPU/RAM combo, an AMD A6-3670K FM1 quad CPU and a set of AMD 2x2GB 1600 RAM.

NewEgg's combos are only available for a limited time so if you wait very long it will be unavailable and we will have to start over.

If you can push your budget an extra $10 I would go with this PSU:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371016

550W will give you enough headroom to be able to upgrade your GPU later and not have to buy a new PSU.
