Considering this rig. Is it okay?

What exactly does the 2500K mean?

And is there a LOT of difference between i5 3570 and i7 3770? Is it worth the extra money?

2500k is just the model number. Like the difference between a BMW Z3 or Z4.
The difference between the 2 is stock clock speed (and turbo speed), amount of L3 cache, and the i7 3770 has HT. Both are native quad core chips.

Sorry if I sound too stupid. But would it be worth paying the extra costs for an i7?
And, the turbo in the one im getting. What does it mean? Is it if I overclock it? Or does it automatically use turbo?

Turbo is a technology in modern processors that allows 1 or 2 cores to automatically raise its multiplier when under heavy load. So in short, yes an auto overclocking mechanism. Both CPU's have it.
I personally don't think it's worth the extra 100 or so for the i7.

Since i didn't se a reply to your Corsair vs Cougar... Its like comparing a Rolls Royce to a ford.

Both get you there, but the rolls will be of better quality, and give you exactly what you pay for.

And if this is a gaming rig, the quad like i5 is perfect.
