GPU question

So I currently have an HD 5750 in my rig, 1GB DDR5 / 720SPU / DX11
I'm considering buying an HD 4870, 512MB DDR5 / 800SPU / DX 10.1

Pretty much just need a card for my backup rig since I plan on selling this rig soon to finance the next build.

So the question is, which card should I keep and which to sell?
Thinking of selling the 4870, but it looks like a toss-up to me, wanted to get some other opinions though.

Sell the better card and keep the lower card to get a better profit margin. The 5770 is pretty similar to a 4870 in performance so I would sell the 4870.

I don't know that the 5750 is technically an upgrade, though I doubt a layman would.
The 4870 is above the 5750 on OCN and our GPU performance lists, I guess because of the higher stream processing units.

One of these cards is going to to into a new rig, 2500k or 3570K depending on when I get the money for it, until I can afford a newer card.
I'm leaning toward keeping the 5750 since its served me well so far, and apparently the 4870 runs quite a bit hotter.

The 4870 isn't that bad with heat but it IS a better performer. It performs on par with the 5770 like I said.
