Most boards come standard with 5.1 channel video, a PCI-E port and at least 1 IDE port. Your GFX you can keep. Just might want to upgrade it soon ;)

I would stay away from Gigabyte. Their customer service is crap. Get this: Newegg.com - ASUS P8Z68-V LX LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

You don't need that speed of RAM, it will not help you in gaming. Get these: Newegg.com - G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL

I'd get the 2500K if you can afford it. If not, get this: Newegg.com - Intel Core i5-2400 Sandy Bridge 3.1GHz (3.4GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 2000 BX80623I52400

Nothing wrong with their boards because a few people (including myself) have had bad experiences with their RMA department. My best friend has that exact board and I can vouch for it being a very nice board.
On a stock system speeding up anything can help greatly. In a 4.5ghz 2500k system the difference between 1600 and 2133 would be moot. Besides, 60 is pretty cheap for that RAM.

What's 5.1 channel video? Must be some new invention. I'm telling you, kids these days have it so much better than we did. :cute: And I can vouch for GB having bad service..

Am I one of those people? I agree with dropping down to 1600 RAM. I ran 1866 for a while when my 2600k was at 5+, and then dropped back down to 1600 and saw no difference whatsoever. Unless you're getting a good deal on the 2133, drop it.

Never a issue with Gigabyte ...Asus on the other hand is a whole different list of RMAs

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I appreciate it.

Haha, I forgot that I bought one of their boards one time to see it arrive DoA. Thanks for the warning reminder.
