Hey guys, need some help here.
I've just built a new gaming rig;
AMD FX 4100 @ 4.60GHz
8GBs DDR3 1333MHz PNY Ram
OCZ agility 3 120GB SATA 3 6GB/s SSD
1TB 7200rpm storage drive
Corsair H60 CPU cooler
AMD 6870 1GB
750watt Evolab +
It's working fine & the overclock is stable, however I'd like to take it further as my idle temps never exceed 10 degrees C & 40 c under 100% load
I have monitored & recorded temps in both real gaming & synthetic benchmarks.
Although when running Prime95 the core clocks drop from 4.6 to about 3.7, however they rise after about 1 second.
All the cores seem to take it in turn to drop & rise again my thought was I might need more voltage?
Can someone please guide me through over volting?
