I am trying to piece together an ultra low cost build that I may put together for an organization. Their computing needs aren't too heavy (Word/Publisher/PowerPoint), some minor graphics work, and web use. The problem is that their current computer is on its last legs (AMD 3500+ mobile CPU, 512MB RAM, running OEM XP weighted down by bloatware).
I have already specced out a semi-decent build that comes up to 289 on NewEgg (including shipping). The challenge is to top it for less without combos or promos (as I don't know when I will get to do this).
