Dedicated Video Memory?

Mike i think i am getting this one but how do i see if this video card's PSU Wattage requierment? So i can know how much Wattage i need so i can buy the right PSU. oh and yea for the PSU how do i know if its supports my desktop?

Um, Mike. the word is "need to upgrade". His 300W PSU isn't gonna cut it.
You'd be surprised. Depending on the brand a 300w PSU can go pretty far as he is not overclocking or will be using any kind of high end hardware. Basically, anything very low end will cut it and be better than his IGP. As was suggested, a 520 can be used on a 300w PSU.

yeah, but he already said it was a Bestec brand on the first page. Bestec is the horrible generic brand that ships with most PCs. that being the case, he would be FAR better off with a newer one. in fact, you can't go wrong with MORE wattage. 300W might RUN the computer with all that, but it won't run very quickly or powerfully...

just because you CAN do something, doesn't necessarily mean you SHOULD :)
