I think I did it again, inadvertently clicked on “submit†twice instead of just once. Hope my thread is still intact since before submitting it I had spent about an hour and a half editing it into its final form
As I recall its title was “Computer/Internet/Web/forum language†or something like that
After some 17 years struggling with forums of this sort at 81 and with incipient Alzheimer's my attempt at submission was evidently thwarted by my sheer incompetence and possibly by my lack of typing skill but if it survived I hope you enjoy my OP
Incidentally Larry your test editor is far superior to 99.9 percent of those used on the rest of the Internet
Also I thank you profusely for making “instant†notification default instead of “weekly†or as some forums, entered individually with each posting
