Outlook removing access to attachments

I have noticed that Outlook automaticall removes access to attachments. It's a very sporatic process, it is not steady and it does it randomly to docuyments I need. if I try to email my self my reume or something, I open it in Outlook and it says "OE has automatically removed access to the following unsafe attachments: Resume.doc"

This is some crap. Like I said, it dosent do it to all attachments, just some. *.DOC seems to be a culprit that is a habitual offender. I can go to the mail shell on the Comcast website to get the mail, but thats annoying. Is there a way I can turn off this annoying feature? I really dont lke it.
 
In Outlook Express, select the Tools menu, and click Options.

Select the Security tab, clear the Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus check box, and click OK.
 
.doc files can be used to store viruses, do to the vast functionality of the format. Unlike a bland plain-text file.

You'll find this happens for zips and other potentially-dangerous formats, too.
